MRG Group, accepting the challenge and joining in the 50th anniversary of its Partner and Supplier, "Matobra - Construction Materials and Decoration, SA", gathered the ideas and skills of its employees, giving life to a simple wood chair. This portrays the partnership felt between the two Groups whose relationship has already been for more than 40 years. On the other hand, and regarding MRG Group’s Social Responsibility Policy, it is a great honor for us to collaborate in the success of Girassol Home Mission.

Thus, the initiative to celebrate the Matobra Anniversary, whose involvement succeeded all expectations, increasing the initial number of 50 chairs to 100, and adding the participation of various entities, companies and personalities such as Rosa Mota, Garrett McNamara, Ruben Rua, Inês Santos, Pedro Carvalhas, among others, resulted in a chair collection that reflected the creativity and dedication of all.

"Matobra Life Course Chairs" can be appreciated (and purchased) at Alma Shopping Mall, in front of Bertrand store, from October 29 to November 11 since, on October 31, its Matobra’s and its Founder’s (Luiz Ramos) birthday. On the last day of the exhibition will also be held the “auction” and a dinner at the Home of São Martinho with all the authors of the chairs and the children of the three Girassol homes. The revenues from the "auction" will revert in favor of Lar Girassol, being used in the shower rooms reconstruction of its facilities.
