With the redevelopment of the Antiga Companhia Aveirense de Moagens, the main entrance of the building happened to be facing the center of the city, with its new entry in Baixa de Santo António, improving safety conditions and access. 

To install Agência Ciência Viva, resulting from a partnership between the Aveiro’s University and the Agency Ciência Viva, the entire interior was remodeled, creating several rooms for exhibitions, auditorium, Media TV room, holography laboratory - “HoloLab " and cafeteria. The project also involved the upgrading of the original grain mill machines which has enabled a museum component through an industrial archeology route.
