The Student Residences work of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra has 95 rooms with an accommodation capacity for 190 students. The project started from the condition of building a house divided into five similar modules, each of them seen as an independent in technical terms, logistical and functional "home" for 38 students.

Each module is developed on three floors plus a basement served by a buried courtyard. In total, the residence of 95 rooms disposes with a capacity of accommodation for 190 students.
