With a 21,676.50m2 intervention area, the North Maternal and Child Centre (CMIN) consists of nine floors, with three of them below ground level.
This building has a Technical Central Block, Installations Gallery, General Services and Emergency and Surgical Block on floors below ground level, Ambulatory and Neonatology at level 0 and Ambulatory Surgery Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics, day Hospital, Assisted Medical Reproduction Unit, Obstetrics Inpatient Unit and Technical Center on the upper floors.
This new building has a calm and luminous environment consisting of a structure in an orderly and clear circulations, with separation from public traffic and outpatients of employees and internal patients. There is also the visits circulation path without interference with hospitalization units and other maximum connection circuits between the areas of Emergency, Central Services, Surgical units as well as between them and the hospitalization units.
The old building was also renovated and equipped with covered parking, ATL and Kindergarten. For closer working links with the new building, keeping the Old one as the main image of the center, the new CMIN identifier it were built three walkways that link the main transport routes.
