This work, which was given the name “Américo Amorim Building ", is intended to support the teachers’ research and the training of Business Management School’s executives. 

The building came to readjust the available facilities on the Foz’s campus to the resulting implications of changes in the context in which it operates, including the implementation of the Bologna process. 

The new facilities include classrooms, lecture halls, faculty offices and work areas for research centers, all with direct views of the mouth of the river Douro and the Atlantic Ocean.
