The School Center of Loreto, a work carried out by MRG, inaugurated yesterday and opens the doors to the educational activities today. This work contemplated the remodeling and expansion of the old EB1 of Loreto, including the construction of a new building with connection to the existing one.

The inauguration was attended by the Education Minister, Tiago Brandão Rodrigues, who, during his speech, praised the work, guaranteed that "this new school center is not bad at all, and I’m telling you, someone who visited hundreds of schools in this Country, including the best school buildings in the country", also affirming that it is "a new school that, because it exists, does not destroy what existed, rather broadens it, renews and conquers a new future for those who teach in it and for those who learn in it".

It is recalled that the new equipment has eight classrooms - two for preschool, four for basic education and two for children with special educational needs, elevator, library, area for plastic expression activities, work offices for Teachers, care office, teacher's room, cafeteria, multipurpose room, storage and sanitary facilities as well as locker rooms for both children and adults. In the outdoor space, it has a playing field and two playgrounds (one of them covered). There was also built a parking lot at the entrance of the new School Center, which is currently qualified to admit a total of 194 students distributed through preschool and junior high school, as well as a class of up to 40 students with special educational needs.
