The financing of the new crop insurance for 2015 is already possible and operational. Farmers who make the insurance will have priority and increments in the supporting investment measures from PDR 2020.

According to a decree published yesterday (No. 18/2015), this insurance will be financed with EU funds, by measure 6 " Risk Management and Restoring production potential " of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 (RDP 2020), with the financing already assured for 2014. This funding will allow to continue to save money for the state budget and settle the insurers’ old system of debt (SIPAC), guarantees the Ministry of Agriculture in a statement.
